Pre & Post treatment advice

The information below is to help you gain optimal results prior to you Tattoo Removal treatment. Please familiarise yourself with the following skin care advice. They will assist you to reach your goal quickly, while not compromising your safety.

Before your Tattoo Removal

• Numbing cream is recommended & if used, needs to be applied a minimum of 120mins prior to your appointment. Ideally 150mins prior works best. To help the numbing cream absorb, wrap the area to be treated in cling wrap.
• If you wish to take pain relief medication, only take what you would normally use for something like a headache, about an hour before appointment. (Please avoid anti-inflammatories e.g. Nurofen or anything with ibuprofen).
• Please see the IPL care instructions for information regarding sun exposure, etc as these instructions are also applicable for tattoo removal clients.
